I urgently need to send a letter to a University teacher, expert in the study
I don't even know how to start this letter. Can you help me write an introductory sentence to the teacher?

1) Our school is currently working on the planning of a Comenius Project to be carried out among our school, a German Gymnasium and a French high school on a scientific theme centred mainly on a comparative analyses of the biodiversity in water and waterways.
2) The preliminary meeting with the two partner schools will take place on 27 and 28 January.
(In two years' time Italian secondary, schools will have to experience CLIL - the teaching of a content subject through English-in their last class of high school.
3) This part was intended to make you understand the importance of using English as lingua franca). As our project is a preparation to CLIL, we'd like to be informed about the requirements we'll have to meet so that our project will be approved.
