I know what y = 1/x^2 would look like
Your equation is supposed to be
y = 1/(x-2)^2
so it would be the y = 1/x^2 translated 2 units to the right.
The graph shown is translated 2 units to the left
Its equation would be y = 1/(x+2)^2
