hey, I have to write an essay about ''challenges posed by differing concepts of health held by healthcare professionals and the general public'' I don't really know what to talk about. I started by explaining what health is but what challenges might be there?

A smoker may consider herself in good health, but a professional can see the dangers ahead for a smoker. The same can be said for other conditions such as obesity and alcoholism.

hmm yeah but this relates only to physical health, what about other concepts of health such as emotional, social, spiritual, mental etc

Healthcare professionals don't usually concern themselves with spiritual health. However, you're right. Often people with these health problems don't feel they're sick and don't seek help and/or don't take prescribed medications.
