What are the first and second derivatives of y= x^(2/3) * (2.5 - x)

I will do this one, you should try the previous one.

We could use the product rule, but I think I will expand it first

y = (2/5)x^(2/3) - x^(5/3)
y' = (2/3)x^(-1/3) -(5/3)x^2/3)

y'' = (-2/9)x^(-4/3) - (10/9)x^(-1/3)

they probably have a different looking answer.
how about factoring our results

y' = (1/3)x^(-1/3) ( 2 - 5x)
= (2-5x)/(3x^(1/3)

try something like that for y''
