Im not too sure how to find the x-intercept & y-intercept for a sstandard form question when it looks like this:
4x-12=0
If someone could explain this too me that would be awesome. thanks :)
4 x = 12
x = 3
All points where x = 3 lie on a vertical line through the point (3,0) on the x axis where x = 3. It does not matter what y is. Since the vertical line never crosses the y axis where x = 0, there is no y axis intercept. The x axis intercept is of course (3,0)
