I find it difficult to check these sentences since the punctuation is missing, the word choice is unclear and they contain grammar mistakes! I really hope you can help me. I think we need to simplify the sentences.

1) Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, unlike the other gothich novels isn't set in a dark castle, in fact (??)the first gothic feature that appears in Frankensteinis the presence of grotesque elements in the description of the monster through every detail.
2) Secondly the presence of mystery. In fact we don't know how Dr Frankenstein has created the monster but we only know that he uses different parts from different corpses.
3) Thirdly, the use of desolate environment. As a matter of fact the novel begins and ends in the Arctic Ice of the North Pole and the monster used to live in an isolated and small cottage where he tries to learn the human behaviour.
