A city has a scale model of the solar system nearly 6 km long. The model's scale is 1 km : 1 billion km.
a. Earth is 150,000,000 km from the Sun. How many meters apart are Earth and the Sun in the model?

Divide the real distance by 10^9.
That would be 0.150 km or 150 m.
