In 2006 population of country was 32.2 million. This represented an increase of 3.6% since 2001. What was population of country in 2001. Round to nearest hundredth of a million.

100 % - 3.6 % = 96.4 % = 96.4 / 100 = 0.964

32.2 / 0.964 = 33.4 milions
