Homework Help: Could you please check over my english? :)

I'm working on an English assignment and I've answered most of them, but I'm not too sure about these ones.. If you could check over my answers that would be amazing! Thank you so much in advance :)


In the following sentences identify the main clause. Find the subordinate clause and tell if it is used as noun, adjective, or adverb.

1. Most of the teachers are Americans, though a few come from England and France.

Identify the word(s) that the italicized adverb clause modifies. (I'm kinda iffy on these ones.. not too sure..)

7. The bus will pick up the children [when school is out.]

modified word: bus?

8.The child burned his hand [because he forgot that the burner was still on.]

modified word: I think this one would be hand?
