**Damon**, Monday, December 12, 2011 at 6:40pmVi = 80 sin 23

v = Vi - 9.8 t = 80 sin 23 - 9.8 t

at top, v = 0

9.8 t = 80 sin 23

solve for t at top

now

h = Vi t - 4.9 t^2solve for h or alternatively

average speed up = Vi/2

h = (Vi/2)t

total time in air = 2 t

horizontal speed is constant = 80 cos23

so horizontal distance = 2t* 80 cos 23
