1. (6x+1)(x^2 - 9x + 5).
Multiply 6x by each term in the 2nd
parenthesis. Then multiply 1 by each term in the 2nd parenthesis:
6x^3 -54x^2 + 30x + x^2 - 9x + 5,
Combine like-terms:
6x^3 - 53x^2 +21x + 5.
2. Same procedure as #1.
3, (12y^3 + 8y^2 + 20y) / 2y.
Divide each term by 2y:
6y^2 + 4y + 10.
4.(6x^2-25x-10) / (3x+2) = 2x-9 + Re
-2x+8. I used Synthetic(Long) division.
It is difficult to show steps here.
5. (8x-5) + (7x+4) =
8x - 5 + 7x + 4,
Combine like-terms:
15x -1.
6. (5x-3.6)- (4x+1.2) =
5x - 3.6 - 4x -1.2,
x - 4.8.
7. Same procedure as #5.
8. Same procedure aqs #6.
