2/3  8/9 = c/6
z/3 + 1 = z/2  3
Use the distributive property to simplify.

multiply the 1st by 18 , the LCM
12  16 = 3c
4 = 3c
c = 4/3
2nd, multiply by 6
2z + 6 = 3z  18
z = 24
z = 24
5(a+2) = 5a  10
