A rug covers 1/4 of the floor. The area of the rug 10ft . What is the area of the floor?
my answer is 2 1/2 ft,am i right if not please explain?

Ms.Sue,you are correct. 4 times 10 equals 40 sq. feet which is the most aprropiate answer for this question.
