Let the vector be V.

Vsin(51.6)= 494.

for the x-component,

V(x) = Vcos(51.6)

Try drawing the y,and x axis, the vector V, and a right angled triangle.

F sin 51.6 = 494

solve for F

Fx = F cos 51.6
