Could you please check these sentences I need to include in an email? Thank you.

1) I have just talked to two of the science teachers who would be involved in the project.
2) Before receiving your proposal by email, they would like to discuss it in further detail with you before deciding which students to include in the project.
3) I left them your email, so I think they are going to get in touch with you very soon.

Sentence 2 seems very wordy. What is it you're really trying to say?

In sentence 3, did you leave the printed email lying on your desk or something? Or did you forward it to them on your computer?
