Homework Help: Math: Homework Questons (answer quick)

Can you check if the answer is correct and of there any grammer mistakes.

Write True or False and EXPLAIN your reasoning for the answer!!!!

8. (5 - 2) - 1 = 5 - (2 - 1)
Answer: True
Reason: The reason why my answer to this question is true is because when we change the grouping by moving the parenthesis in addition + multiplication the answer does not change.

9. 3 x (2 x 4) = (3 x 2) x 4
Answer: False
Reason: The reason why my answer to this question is false is because when we change the grouping by moving the parenthesis in addition + multiplication the answer does not change.

10. 6 divide by 3 = 3 divide by 6
Answer: True
Reason: The reason why my answer to this question is true is because when we change the order in subtraction and division the answer is the same.

11. 5 + 8 = 8 + 5
Answer: True
Reason: The reason why my answer to this question is true is because when we change the order in addition and multiplication the answer is the same.


If I got it wrong in one of the questions please explain so that way I can understand why.
