A rectangular field of length 260m and breadth 200m contains a circular track of diameter 140m. Taking pi=22/7, calculate the:
length of fencing required to enclose the field and track, answer in km
Please show working out! Thanks

    The field has perimeter 2(260+200) = 920m
    The track has a circumference 140π = 440m

    Add them up and you need 1360m = 1.36km of fence.
