Here's the question you posted in response to another student.

"Ms.Sue do you mind if i ask were you a math teacher or are you just a genius at math and why do you do this help online do you get any benefit for doing this?"

I taught a couple of sections of 7th grade math -- but I was a social studies and English teacher. My math knowledge is limited to middle school math.

The benefit I get from being a volunteer tutor on Jiskha is the enjoyment of helping students learn.
