It's exponential growth.

B. Use your equation to determine the # of dragonflies that will be breeding after 9 days

1 9 = 9(2^0)

2 18 = 9(2^1)

3 36 = 9(2^2)

did you notice the pattern

dragonflies = 9(2^(day - 1) )

so when day = 9

we have 9(2^8) = 2304
