Microsoft Word makes it easier to organize and write documents concerning the reports that law enforcement officers have to fill out every they respond to a call for help and take down the events of what actually happened. They can also edit pictures
Microsoft PowerPoint and Word are able to edit files simultaneously even across different states. Presentations for meetings, slide shows, and is a visual for analysis. (Sterling, 2008)
Microsoft Excel has many uses that can be utilized to in the field of Criminal Justice. It can create professional spreadsheets and chart data. (Microsoft, 2011). It can indentify, highlight, and share the trends of criminal analyses and workloads. By using Sparklines and Slicer in this program will enable employees to format worksheets and visualize trends more quicker. Another program used by the Criminal Bureau of Investigation team is InfoPath, which can effectively manage accreditation and evidence reporting requirements. It is great at reducing agency backlogs and meeting court deadlines. It can also compare DNA samples to other fingerprints, which in turn helps them to identify offenders (Saul, 2011).
