Yolanda and Yoko ran in a 100 yd dash. When Yolanda crossed the finish line, Yoko was 10 yd behind her. The girls then repeated the race, with Yolanda starting 10 yd behind the starting line. If each girl ran at the same rate as efore, who won the race? By how many yards.

Would this be Yoko

Yoko ran 90 yds while Yolanda ran 100 yds

so, Yolanda = 10/9 Yoko

So, with Yoko in front, while she runs 100 yds, Yolanda will run 100*10/9 = 111.11 yds. She will still win, by 1.11 yds = 1 yd 4 in
