a truck rental company rents a truck for one day charging $29 plus $0.10 per mile. Write a linear equation that relates the cost C in dollars, of renting the truck to the number x of the miles driven.
Also, what is the cost of the truck for 185 miles & 363 miles?

(x * 0.10) + $29 = C * being multplication sign. Now YOU figure out the answer by substituting your amounts to get C, your total.
