Homework Help: english (parts of a sentence)

Is (the worried lady) in the following sentence the subject or is it a adjective phrase?

Gazing over her shoulder, the worried lady called for help.

Can (my computer problem)in the following sentence be considered a dependent clause? If not could you explain what it is? Thanks

My friend fixed (my computer problem)in a few minutes.

English (parts of a sentence) - Ms. Sue, Friday, October 21, 2011 at 9:11pm
(the worried lady) is the subject. The verb is "called."

(my computer problem) is not a clause because it doesn't have a verb. This phrase is the direct object of the verb "fixed."
