A computer game starts with a set of 144 tiles separated into 36 equal groups.Sara played the game until there were 8 groups of tiles left.How many tiles were left when Sara finished?
How do you get 32 tiles?Can you please explain?Thanks

144/36 = 4 tiles in each group

8 * 4 = 32

144 tiles SEPARATED (meaning divided) into 36 equal groups . So 144/36 =4 . Sara played the game until there were 8 GROUPS so 4x8=32 tiles :)
