A computer game starts with a set of 144 tiles separated into 36 equal groups.Sara played the game until there were 8 groups of tiles left.How many tiles were left when Sara finished?

There were 36 equal groups of 4 tiles each. She left with 8 groups left, or 8x4 tiles.
