Janice is running a 7613 meter race. Assume the she runs at a constant speed of 287 meters per minute. Express the function f(t) that gives her distance from the finishing line t minutes after the start of the race.

S, in t minutes, she runs 287t meters

If she started of with 7613meters t go, then after t minutes, she has

7613 - 287t meters left to go

f(t) = 7613 - 287t
