one side of a right triangle is 12.5 ft the perimeter is 38.7 ft. what is the length of the hypotenuse and the other unknown side?

Let a,b, be the legs, and c the hypotenuse

a+b+c = 38.7
a + b + √(12.5²+b²) = 38.7

√(12.5²+b²) = 26.2 - b

12.5²+b² = b² - 52.4b + 686.44

52.4b = 530.19

b = 10.1
a = 12.5
c = 16.1
