If 3 tickets in Japan, plus 2 tickets in Switzerland cost $79.50, and 3 tickets in Switzerland plus 2 tickets in Japan cost $75.30, how much is the average ticket in each country?

In Switz: one ticket cost $15.90
In Japan: " " " $15.90

3x + 2x = 79.50
5x = 79.50

divide each side by 5 and x = 15.9
substitute the x's in the equation and add to check:

3(15.9)=47.7
2(15.9)=31.8
47.7+31.8= 79.50!!!!!
