the chess club has 55 members 22 of them are in 6th grade what percent of the club is not in 6th grade

33/55=x/100
55x=3300
x=3300/55
x=60%

Another way is to turn the percents into decimals and the "of" into a multiplication symbol and make an equation out of that. But Millie's answer is better and less confusing.
