1.8 = (5-x)/100 * 150/x
= 150/100 * (5-x)/x
= 3/2 (5/x - 1)
9/5 = 15/2x - 3/2
9/5 + 3/2 = 15/2x
33/10 = 15/2x
10/33 = 2x/15
10/33 * 15/2 = x
x = 150/66 = 25/11
1.8=[(5.0-x)/100]/(x/150)
1.8 =[(5.0-x)/100]*150/x
1.8=(5.0-x)150/100* x
1.8 =[(5*150)-(x*150)]/100x
1.8= 750-150x/100x
1.8*100x=750-150x
180x=750-150x
180x+150x=750
330x=750
divide through by330
330x/330=750/330
x=2.27
