Does Feature Writer means a creative writer ?

Feature writing is writing an article for a magazine that is featured (mentioned) on the front page. It is different from a column in that the feature writer might not be left a space every week, and that the focus of the article is on a one off topic, not the author him or herself or a running topic.

Please help me by solving some of my math problems or recommending people to? Thanks.
P.S hope that helped a bit.

oh ok cause that a job for a school's newspaper I saw online I'm just making sure

A feature writer typically refers to a journalist or writer who specializes in producing in-depth and creative articles on a variety of topics. While feature writing does require creativity and storytelling skills, it is not limited to creative writing in the traditional sense.

To confirm if a feature writer means a creative writer, you can follow these steps:

1. Consult reliable sources: Look up the definition of feature writing from reputable dictionaries or journalism resources. These sources will provide insights into the specific characteristics and scope of feature writing.

2. Explore job descriptions: Read through job postings or descriptions for feature writer positions. Analyze the required skills and qualifications mentioned in the postings to get a better understanding of what is expected of a feature writer in terms of creativity and writing style.

3. Research industry standards: Look into the professional standards and practices associated with feature writing. Investigate the guidelines and methodologies followed by feature writers and journalism organizations.

By combining information from these sources, you can form a well-rounded understanding of what a feature writer entails and determine if it aligns with the idea of a creative writer.
