Here is the second part of my summary. Can you please check if everything is OK now?
By the way, do you say "On which carriage or in which carriage is your seat?"
Which bus number goes to the city centre OR Which number bus goes ....?

1) Go into the departures lounge where you can buy things in the duty-free.
About half an hour before take-off go to your gate number and wait for your flight to be announced.
2) After you board the plane a steward, or stewardess will help you find your seat. If you have (any) hand luggage, put it in the overhead luggage locker.
3) Fasten your seat belt during take-off and landing. The stewards can offer you a snack during the flight.
4) When the plane lands, wait for it to stop. Disembark from the plane, go through the terminal building and collect your luggage from the baggage carousel.
5) Go through customs. If you have anything to declare, tell the customs officer. Exit the airport through the arrivals lounge.

Are you sitting IN the carriage or ON it? On it would imply sitting on the roof.

Is the subject the bus or the number?

5) Go through customs. If you have anything to declare, tell the customs officer. Exit the airport through the arrivals lounge. (in my experience with flying, I am not aware of an arrivals lounge.)
