Kurt can order a hot dog because you know that if they each pay $3.75 the total can be 5*3.75= $18.75 at max and they already bought two hamburgers, so 2*3.25= $6.50, two pizzas, so 2*1.75=$3.50, and five sodas, so 5*1.25=$6.25. Of their $18.75 they have spent 6.50+3.50+6.25=$16.25, meaning that Kurt is left with the $2.50 to buy a hot dog.
2.50 x 1 = 2.50
1.75 x 2 = 3.50
3.25 x 2 = 6.50
1.25 x 5 = 6.25
= 18.75/5
Kurt will have to order a hot dog.
AHHH THANKS BRIANNA
