Range = (Vo^2/g)*sin(2*30)
= 22,092 meters
Max height H:
g H = (Vo*sin30)^2/2 = Vo^2/8
H = Vo^2/(8 g) = 3189 m
The numbers I just calculated greatly exceed the range and max height of real "trench mortars". This is apparently because the launch speed you were provided is much too high.
