Homework Help: Chemistry(Please check)

What is the oxidation number of chromium in K2Cr2O7

so k=+1 (2) = 2

O=-2(7) = -14

2x + 1 +(-14) = 0

2x-12=0 x=6 so Cr is 6

Is this correct?? Thank you!!
