Goodness -- there are and have been billions of principled figures.
Can you name a couple that I could use for my project?
Start with the people that you know. I'm sure many of them are principled.
I suspect that many politicians would fall down under this kind of scrutiny. I'm not even sure that famous "saints" like Gandhi and Mother Teresa would make the cut.
Does your project have to be about a famous person?
My teacher won't allow me to use people I know.
Since part of your definition is "able to demonstrate rightness . . .", you might consider Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jr., Jimmy Carter, or Albert Schweitzer.
