instructions are to find the product mentally using the distribution property:

11.6 (9) = 104.40

but you have:

(11 x 0.6) + (11x5)

6.6 + 55

= 61.60 ?? i don't understand

problem 2

3.4 (5)

you show: 3 x 0.4 + 3 + 0.5

= 1.2 + 15 = 2.7? i don't understand?

pls explain how you got this
