John goes to the store to buy some school supplies. He byus a stapler for $6.32, staples for $3.75, pencils for $2.00, and 2 packs of erasers for $0.99 each. He must pay $0.07 tax for every ($1.00)dollar he spends.
How much does John have to pay in all?
What is the total tax John has to pay?
What bills and coins can he use to give to the salesperson exact change?

First add all of those numbers. (Be sure to multiply 0.99 by 2.)
Multiply the sum by 0.07 to find the tax.
I'll be glad to check your answers.
