Review the verbs that require être au passé composé
je suis né...Je suis venu au Canada..quand j'avais (age with l'imparfait) échapper (accent) la paix (fem)
La langue officielle...c'est le français...que je parle français.
J'espère (requires the Subjonctif) que les étudiants canadiens comprennent...liberté...démocratie
J'ai de la chance d'être canadienne more idiomatic) (you are female, right?)...avec vous.
Shame shame! I will not accept that you "didn't feel like putting them all in!" It is incorrect to write a French word, requiring an accent, without it! Ordinarily I won't correct anything without them!
If you have time, feel free to repost with all the corrections for a final proofreading. Just because it's oral, still spell everything correctly, with the correct gender. If you require a good dictionary, there are some online. Just ask!
