Can you check these sentences about summer holidays? Thank you.

1) When I was at the seaside, I usually bathed twice in the mornings. (went for swims).
2) I pushed my child on a swing and I watch him going on a slide.
When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the water chute (a slide in the water?) or the springboard.
3) Is there a verb for "opening the beach umbrella"?
I liked snoozing (having a nap) on the deck chair.
4) I rented a beach umbrella and a deck chair.

So far, the only mistake I see is the second sentences. The sentence itself doesn't sound right, so i would change it to "I pushed my child on a swing and then watched him go down a slide." and then, "When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the water chute." I don't see springboard necessary, and if it is it would replace water chute. Em not exactly sure what you mean by "Is there a verb for opening the beach umbrella?"

*** It would be springboard, not water chute. So it would be "When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the springboard." Sorry about that.

1) The sentence "When I was at the seaside, I usually bathed twice in the mornings" is grammatically correct. However, if you are looking for a verb to replace "bathed," you could use "went for swims." For example, "When I was at the seaside, I usually went for swims twice in the mornings."

2) The sentence "I pushed my child on a swing and I watch him going on a slide" has a small error. Instead of "watch," it should be "watched" to match the past tense of the rest of the sentence. So it should be "I pushed my child on a swing and I watched him going on a slide." Alternatively, you could use "I watched him go on a slide."

3) Yes, there is a verb for "opening the beach umbrella." You can use the verb "set up" to describe the action of opening the beach umbrella. For example, "I set up the beach umbrella."

4) The sentence "I liked snoozing on the deck chair" is grammatically correct. If you are looking for another verb to replace "liked," you could use "enjoyed" or "loved." For example, "I enjoyed snoozing on the deck chair."

Lastly, the sentence "I rented a beach umbrella and a deck chair" is grammatically correct and does not require any changes.
