There's no way anyone here will know anything about any of this. You need to wait for your classes to start and let the teachers explain their courses.

Yes, if you have good teachers, you will get a lot of homework. Millions before you existed carried the same burden, and came out OK. You will also, so quit worrying, and start getting the work done before it is due.
