Homework Help: Psychology

Posted by Jewbee on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 1:11pm.

Jan is continuously late for school and has been stealing from others lockers and purses. How would each of these perspectives explain her behavior?

Biological:

Evolutionary:

Humanistic: Jan could feel that she can't make her own choices, and can't control anything, but that this is one thing she can control.

Psychoanalytic:

Cognitive: Jan could be poor, she could think stealing things from others could solve her problems.

Behavioral: Her parents could've stolen in front of her, she could've learned stealing is right.

Social: Jan could've been influenced by her peers to start stealing.

Could this be correct? and how should I answer Biological, Evolutionary and Psychoanalytic?
