i interpreted this as:
-128 / 4^2 + 6 - 1
recall PEMDAS: Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction. this is the order in which operation must be done first. therefore,
-128 / 8 + 6 - 1
-16 + 6 - 1
-11
