How do I simplify the following expression using the distributive property?
7z-4+6(2z-9)

    Use PEMDAS for operations.
    P-arentheis
    E-xponents
    M-ultiplication
    D-ivision
    A-ddition
    S-ubtraction

    So distribute the 6 first to 2z-9. And then combine like terms.
