let the first integer be x
then the next even integer is x+2
x(x+2) = 224
x^2 + 2x  224 = 0
(x14)(x+16) = 0
x=14 or x = 16
if x=12, then x+2 = 16
if x = 16 , then x+2 = 14
the two integers are 14 and 16 or 14 and 16
