Extend the table to show each of the different cases:
p - | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
q - | 5 | 9 | 13| 17|
p+4-| 5 | 6 | ...
p+7-| 8 | ...
5p -| 5 | 10|....
6p-1| 5 | 11|...
We see that cases a,b,d,e all have at least one member that does not match the q-value.
That leaves the case 4p+1 to be investigated. Can you complete the table?
