So let me know if I did this one right please!!!!!

8x+6=2x+9
8x-2x+6=2x-2x+9
6x+6=9
6x+6-6=9-6
6x=3
6/2= 3/6=1/2
x=1/2

I think this line >>

6/2= 3/6=1/2

should be
6x/6 = 3/6
x = 1/2
