**Reiny**, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 5:45pmfirst of all , write them down in nice column forms

Now look at the columns

the first column is obvious

2nd column:

look at the numerators.

1 3 6 10 15 ..

notice that the difference between them increases by 1 each time, so the next few are

1 3 6 10 15 21 28 ...

look at the numerators

2 4 7 11 ...

difference between 2 and 4 is 2, difference between 4 and 7 is 3, difference between 7 and 11 is 4 ...

can you see the pattern?

Can you finish it ?
