You have written a question, not a thesis statement, and it doesn't make complete sense. Were you born before or after your parents divorced? Notice that it's the PARENTS who divorce, not the children or the whole family, but all end up living in those circumstances.
Try something like this, or rephrase it:
I did not like growing up as the child of divorced parents.
