Have you read it?

Yes, I have read it.
I have not read it, but I know that in most stories/books, what a character learns during the course of the story produces changes in that character by the end.
Think about how the character changed by the end of the story and what caused those changes.
You will understand this story far better if you know something about the Yupik culture, a struggle for survival on the tundra and a wolf pack. The wolf pack is loyal, with each wolf having a role in the pack.
